Our Story
After working in the events industry for two decades and living in Berwick a great portion of that time, director Skye Wood realised there was a need for a space as Berwick was lacking in venues that catered for private events. With this she set out and within a week found the ideal location for her dream to become a reality. It was a labour of love with all family and friends on the tools to bring our vision to life and after 8 months of renovations the journey began and Poker Face opened.
The meaning behind the name
We often get asked how the name Poker Face was created. People often mistakenly think our name refers to playing poker. When we came across the space we realised what was on the outside was not a reflection of what was happening on the inside. With this Poker Face was born.
